Matchup Overview:
The Esks and Als have opposing records this season but on paper they’re closer than they look. The Alouettes are one of just four teams in the CFL with a positive point differential and they rank third in that regard with 10 more points than they’ve allowed — despite suffering in the win column. They’re also a different ball club altogether at home, where they’re 2-1 this season and have pulled off a pair of dramatic upsets over the defending Grey Cup Finalists, Hamilton and Calgary.
The Eskimos boast the League’s top defence thus far and own a whopping 76-point differential this season — but they’re 1-2 on the road this season compared to 3-0 at home and a long trip to Montreal could give the Alouettes an advantage.
