Calgary Stampeders
Week 19 Ranking: 1
The Stampeders returned to usual dominant form in a road win over the Lions, as Bo Levi Mitchell and Drew Tate combined for more than 400 passing yards against stingy BC defence. A healthy Marquay McDaniel only adds to the Stamps’ firepower.

Edmonton Eskimos
Week 19 Ranking: 2
After sitting most of their players, the Eskimos dropped a close one on the road to Saskatchewan. Most of the team’s top contributors will return for the playoff rematch with the Riders, but the status of Mike Reilly remains a question mark.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Week 19 Ranking: 4
Almost down and out a couple of weeks ago, the Ticats defied the odds and won the East Division crown thanks to a home win over the Als over the weekend. One more win at Tim Hortons Field, where they’re undefeated this season, and the Ticats are back in the Grey Cup.

Montreal Alouettes
Week 19 Ranking: 3
The Alouettes’ remarkable mid-season turnaround hit a bit of a snag with a loss to Hamilton, but it should only be a minor setback. The Als still get a home playoff game, and with a win there can book a rematch with the Ticats in the Eastern Final.

Saskatchewan Roughriders
Week 19 Ranking: 7
Momentum was the key for the Riders entering their season finale, and they were able to gain some of it back with a 24-17 win over the Eskimos on home field. With Darian Durant set to possibly return, the Riders could be the darkhorse team of the 2014 CFL Playoffs.

BC Lions
Week 19 Ranking: 6
Dominant defence seems to be a thing of the Lions’ past lately, after back-to-back tough outings to end the regular season. Is it just a slump, or have the Lions lost their edge defensively? There are more questions than answers in BC entering the playoffs.

Toronto Argonauts
Week 19 Ranking: 5
The Boatmen were one of the better teams in the CFL over the second half of the season, but it wasn’t enough to rebound from a tough start. 2014 was a season in transition for the Argos, particularly on defence, where they should expect to be much improved in 2015.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Week 19 Ranking: 8
The Bombers capped off a disappointing season with a sweet taste in their mouths, after a season-ending victory over the Stamps a couple of weeks ago on the road. Now the off-season begins, as the Blue and Gold look to build off a number of positives from 2014.

Ottawa REDBLACKS
Week 19 Ranking: 9
Scoring points continued to be a struggle in the team’s season finale, a loss to the Argos at the Rogers Centre. There’s a lot to work on for this team heading towards 2015, however there were also plenty of positives that can be taken from a season of ups and downs.
