The fifth annual TigerTown Grey Cup Party takes place at the Citadel Theatre (9828-101A Avenue), in the heart of the Grey Cup Festival. This year’s TigerTown event However, this won’t be your usual theatre event. TigerTown takes place throughout the lobby’s of the venue, which featured a three-storey glass wall that looks out over the Grey Cup Festival at Churchill Square.
With this venue, the fans at the Festival will be able to see right into all the action at TigerTown. With this in mind, the Ticats, in partnership with “Hamilton, City of Waterfalls,” are handing out 1,000 light-up beverage mugs on Friday night and 2,000 on Saturday. Quantities are limited and are included with the $20 admission.
TigerTown will be open on Friday (6pm-2am) and Saturday (12pm-2am). Each day features tons of live entertainment, including performances by renowned Canadian band 54-40, Two For The Show, Chain of Fools, Lee Harvey Osmond and Life of Riley. Pigskin Pete, pep bands and cheer teams from throughout the CFL will also make appearances at TigerTown throughout the two-day event. Tiger-Cats players and alumni will frequent the party as well.
