TICATS UNVEIL DETAILS FOR PROPOSED STADIUM SITE

Hamilton, Ontario – This morning, at a Hamilton Chamber of Commerce event, The Hamilton Tiger-Cats provided detailed information about the proposed stadium and development at the Aberdeen and Longwood location.

“We’ve been engaged in a very cooperative exercise with the City Council and its staff, and at their request have been spending a great deal of time analyzing the site and discussing concepts for the site.  Located within a couple kilometres of both City Hall and McMaster University, across the street from the Innovation Park and within a kilometre of the proposed light rail transit line, the site represents an incredible opportunity to continue the transformation of the core of the city.  We feel today’s presentation provides some compelling context for the citizens of Hamilton and we are looking forward to continuing to work with the City, HostCo and our partners with the provincial and federal governments to secure this site and this stadium development,” said President Scott Mitchell.
