BAGGS NAMED CFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Hamilton, Ontario – Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive end Stevie Baggs has been named the CFL’s Defensive Player of the Month for his outstanding performance in October.
Baggs showed off his ability to make big plays last month, recording four quarterback sacks, one interception, two tackles for a loss, two pass knockdowns, three fumble recoveries and two touchdowns on top of his 20 defensive tackles. He was named CFL Defensive Player of the Week for Weeks 16 and 17.
Baggs and his teammates host the Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Semi-Final this Sunday, November 14 at Ivor Wynne Stadium. Call 905-547-CATS or visit Ticats.ca for ticket information.
