THE MATCH-UP
Tonight’s game will be the third of three regular season meetings between the Tiger-Cats and Argonauts in the 2010 season. The Ticats have won both games against the Argos so far this year, defeating them on August 20th in Toronto, 16-12, and in the annual Labour Day Classic, 28-13, at Ivor Wynne Stadium. The match-up will be the 209th meeting between the two teams since 1950. Hamilton holds the edge in the all-time series, 119-85-2-2. The Ticats have won six of the last 10 games against the Argos overall and four out of the last five. In the last 10 meetings at Rogers Centre between the two teams, the Argonauts have won seven times, while the Ticats have only won three games.
This will be the third meeting between head coaches Marcel Bellefeuille and Jim Barker. Bellefeuille has a career record of 17-23 as a CFL head coach in the regular season and holds a 4-2 record against the Argonauts. Barker has a career record of 21-29 as a CFL head coach in the regular season and holds a 3-4 record against the Ticats.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Kevin Glenn / QB / Hamilton
Glenn is continuing his great season and is closing in on franchise records in number of categories including touchdown passes, completions, completion percentage and passing yards. With four touchdown passes tonight, Glenn will tie Danny McManus for the franchise record for single season touchdown passes. With the Argonauts defence ranking seventh against the pass this season, look for Glenn to be throwing the ball early and often as the Ticats try to get a lead early in the first quarter.
Arland Bruce / WR / Hamilton
Bruce will return to Toronto for the fourth time in a Tiger-Cats uniform and each time he returns to the Rogers Centre, he is heavily involved in the Tiger-Cats offence. Bruce is averaging seven catches and 70 yards receiving per game at Rogers Centre as a member of the Tiger-Cats. Although finding the end zone just once in those three games, look for Bruce to be an important part of the Tiger-Cats offence tonight.
Cory Boyd / RB / Toronto
Boyd played in his second game after returning from a concussion that sidelined him for two weeks last weekend. In two straight games against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Boyd had 20 carries in each game, gained at least 130 yards rushing in each game and had a run of at least 40 yards in each game. Look for the Argonauts to continue to rely on Boyd to get the job done as they only average 221 yards per game passing this season.
Chad Owens / WR / Toronto
Owens provides a dual threat for the Argos, not only as a receiver but as a kick returner as well. Owens leads the league in combined yards, gaining over 2,000 yards in 2010. Owens has also scored two punt return touchdowns, one missed field goal return touchdown and one receiving touchdown this season. If the Tiger-Cats offence is forced to punt multiple times tonight, it could give Owens the opportunity to make a game changing play.
KEY MATCH-UP
Tiger-Cats Passing Game vs. Argonauts Secondary
The key match-up in tonight’s game will be the Ticats passing game against the Argonauts secondary. A big key for the Tiger-Cats will be keeping the ball out of Cory Boyd’s hands and the way they can do this is by controlling time of possession and moving the football down the field with the passing game. The Tiger-Cats have three primary targets that the Argos will need to focus on in Arland Bruce, Dave Stala and Marquay McDaniel. Bruce has already reached 1,000 yards receiving this season and both Stala and McDaniel are close to reaching that mark as well. It would be the first time in franchise history the Tiger-Cats have had three receivers reach 1,000 yards in one season. If the Argonauts secondary can’t contain all three receivers, the Tiger-Cats may be able to move the ball down the field, resulting in big plays and points in tonight’s game.
