DARRELL ADAMS RETIRES
Hamilton, Ontario – Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive tackle Darrell Adams announced his retirement today after three seasons in Hamilton.
“I have decided to retire. I will always bleed black and gold, but mentally and physically I am not in a position to help this team win a Grey Cup,” said Adams.
In 27 games after signing with the Ticats on September 25, 2007, Adams recorded 60 defensive tackles and 11 quarterback sacks. Adams played in nine regular season games in 2009.
“On behalf of the Tiger-Cats organization, I would like to thank Darrell for his contributions on the field and in the community. We wish him the best in the future,” said General Manager Bob O’Billovich.
