City of Hamilton and Hamilton Tiger-Cats Approve Terms of Reference
Hamilton (ON) – Today, City Council approved the Terms of Reference for the Pan Am Stadium Facilitation process. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have also approved the Terms of Reference which were created by Michael Fenn who was appointed as the Facilitator on May 19, 2010. City Council also appointed the Mayor and Councillors Bratina, Duvall, Ferguson, Jackson, Pearson and Powers as Advisors to the City team as recommended in the Term of Reference, to provide direction and feedback to its negotiators. Council approved the City Manager, Chris Murray, and Tourism Director David Adames as the City’s representatives to the Facilitation process. The Hamilton Tiger Cats have named Scott Mitchell and Doug Rye as their representatives to the Facilitation process
Michael Fenn will be scheduling meetings with the City and the Tiger-Cats to begin the process, which is on schedule with Michael Fenn to provide a report to City Council by July 8, 2010. As the Facilitator, Michael Fenn will be the primary media spokesperson for the process and will keep the Pan Am Games Host Corporation informed on progress.
