TIGER-CATS SIGN 2009 PICK RYAN HINDS
Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed their second round pick in the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft, defensive back Ryan Hinds.

Hinds, a 6-1, 198-pound native of Georgetown, Guyana has spent the last four years at New Hampshire, where he recorded 133 (92 solo) defensive tackles and 10 interceptions in 42 games. Last season, Hinds was selected as the winner of the Buck Buchanan Distinguished Service Award and was named to the CAA Academic All-Conference Team. He was the 13th overall selection in the 2009 Draft.
The Ticats also announced that the team has released import kicker/punter Jeremy Ito.
