Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals that you follow?
Jason: I like to get to the stadium as late as possible. I hate sitting around and waiting.
Q: What is your favourite personal football memory?
Jason: In college, when we (Southern Mississippi) beat Alabama 21-0, it was the first time in school history that we shut them out and one of a handful of times we beat them.
Q: Who is an athlete you admired growing up?
Jason: I loved watching Lawrence Taylor and Joe Montana as a kid. Jerry Rice too and I actually had a chance to be a teammate of his for a while when I was in Oakland.
Q: What surprised you the most when you got to the CFL?

Jason: Probably the kicking rules, I wasn’t too sure about that. I had no idea about the single.
Q: If you weren’t playing football where would you be?
Jason: I’d like to work in foreign policy some day in the States.
Q: If you could try another position on the field what would it be?
Jason: I wouldn’t mind playing tight end or maybe defensive end.
Q: Do you have a favourite pre-game meal?
Jason : Pretty much as many food as I can possibly eat. As long as it’s hot and it tastes good I’ll eat it.
Q: Whats getting the most play in your iPod or car right now?
Jason: I like to listen to a lot of Salsa and Meringue. I like to listen to some Mudvayne too, guys like that.
Q: Do you have any game day superstitions?
Jason: My one superstition and I’m yet to be proven wrong is that I need to listen to some sort of heavy metal before the game. Every time we’ve played it in the locker room we’ve won and every time we haven’t, we’ve lost.
