TIGER-CATS LOCK UP QUARTERBACK DUO

Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed import quarterbacks Kevin Glenn and Quinton Porter to contract extensions.

Glenn and Porter threw for a combined 4,839 passing yards and 24 touchdowns in 2009 while leading the Ticats to the Eastern Semi-Final.

“Having two good quarterbacks is important to be successful in this league and we feel that Kevin and Quinton, along with the other quarterbacks on our roster, give us a tremendous amount of stability at that position,” said General Manager Bob O’Billovich. “We are pleased with the leadership Kevin has provided as well as the potential shown by Quinton, and are confident in the abilities of both players.”

Glenn, a 5-10, 203-pound native of Detroit, Michigan, completed 241 of 389 pass attempts for 3,077 yards and 18 touchdowns last season.  Glenn also carried the ball 21 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
