The Ticats defeated the defending Grey Cup champion Calgary Stampeders at home in week twelve. Adam Trafalis faked diving forward on second and short in Calgary territory, and lobbed a deep ball up to Bruce. Bruce made a great catch over Dwight Anderson to give the Ticats the lead and the win late in the fourth quarter.
