Hage's Heroes Gives Back At Thanksgiving

On Saturday afternoon, Tiger-Cats all-star offensive lineman Marwan Hage will take part in the second annual Hage’s Heroes Thanksgiving food share program as his community initiative continues to help those in need within the Hamilton community.

Hage has teamed up FTC Canada to provide food boxes containing Thanksgiving meals (and more) for 1,500 Hamilton families.  Hot dogs and drinks (generously donated by Maple Leaf Foods and Pepsi, and prepared by Compass) will be provided on Saturday as Hage will be on hand to personally deliver these food boxes at Ivor Wynne Stadium.

“I am happy to give back whenever the opportunity arises, especially in these tough economic times.  I would like to thank my sponsors (Echo Freight, Centre68.com, Great Lakes Feeder Lines, Reebok, Air Whistle Media and Findlay Law) for their contributions,” said Hage.

Hage would also like to thank all of our season seat holders who purchased Tickets to the October 12 game through the Hage’s Heroes Thanksgiving weekend promotion.  One dollar from each $10 ticket purchased this week went to support Hage’s Heroes Community program. The program ran from Monday to Friday of this week and raised over $1,300 to support children in Hamilton — thank you TigerTown!
