TIGER-CATS READY TO CELEBRATE THE SIXTIES WITH RETRO GAME THIS SATURDAY
Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are ready to celebrate the sixties with their Retro game presented by Bet365.net against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this Saturday, July 18 at Ivor Wynne Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
On the field, the team will wear their throwback 1960’s-style uniforms. The game will feature music from the sixties, cheerleaders in 1960’s attire and plenty of great Retro merchandise available for purchase.
The Ticats will also honour the 1965 Grey Cup championship team at halftime as members of the team will be introduced to the crowd. The group of players will be joined on the field by Ticats season seat holders who have continuously had their seats since the 1960’s.
Players from the 1965 team will take part in a pre-game autograph session in the Carling Area and the TigerTown Platinum Club presented by Maple Leaf Foods from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
The list of attendees from the 1965 championship team include Willy Bethea, Bill Danychuk, Garney Henley, Steve Hmeil, Zeno Karcz, Ellison Kelly, Bobby Krouse, Marty Martinello, John Metras, Angelo Mosca, Don Sutherin and Joe Zuger
The Ticats are also providing fans with special retro food prices. The deals include:
• The Family Retro Deal. For the special price of $19.65: Four Pepsis, four Hot Dogs and Four bags of Chips. This deal is only available by pre-purchasing. Please call 905-547-CATS, visit the TigerTown store, or visit the stadium box office on gameday to pre-purchase.
• Kickoff Special at the TigerTown Platinum Club presented by Maple Leaf Foods. For the special price of $19.65, fans can purchase two Molson tallboys and one pound of wings. This deal is only available after kickoff.
