On Wednesday, Hamilton Tiger-Cats players and mascot Stripes will take part in McDonald’s annual McHappy Day. One dollar from every sale of a McMuffin sandwich, Happy Meal or Big Mac sandwich will be donated to the Hamilton’s Ronald McDonald House, McMaster Children’s Hospital and other local children’s charities in Hamilton.
To kick things off, Peter Dyakowski and Cedric Gagne-Marcoux will be at the McDonald’s located at 1268 King Street East to help serve breakfast beginning at 8:00am.
At noon, Sandy Beveridge and Ray Mariuz will be on hand at the McDonalds at Dundurn to assist the staff during the always busy lunch hour shift.
Of course, everyone’s favourite mascot Stripes will also be at each McDonald’s location to entertain fans and staff alike.
