On Wednesday, Hamilton Tiger-Cats players Agustin Barrenechea, George Hudson and Matt Robichaud, along with mascot Stripes, took part in the annual Slice for Smiles campaign to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network at Pizza Pizza on Mud Street in Hamilton.
The trio of Ticats signed autographs and interacted with Pizza Pizza’s customers, who helped generate valuable donation money for the Children’s Miracle Network through the sale of a portion of Pizza Pizza’s sales. Stipes was also on hand to inject his unparalleled enthusiam as he entertained fans and the Pizza Pizza staff.
The Slices for Smiles fundraiser began on Monday, April 27 and will continue throughout the weekend to raise valuable funds for Children’s Miracle Network and its member hospitals.
