Ivor Wynne To Host 4th Annual Cookie Bowl

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are proud to host the 4th Annual Cookie Bowl on Saturday, October 4th when the Ticats host the visiting Montreal Alouettes.

“There’s such a huge buzz about this event and it has generated a ton of excitement,” said Susan Birnie, the Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Ontario. “Even girls who don’t know a thing about football are excited because they know it’s a huge event.”

Over 250 Girl Guides from across Southern-Ontario will travel to Ivor Wynne stadium for a fun afternoon and evening of events. During the day, Girl Guides will participate in an on-field parade and take in all the exciting action at the Tiacts game. Later in the evening all eyes will be focused on the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Tiger-Vision for a private movie screening.

“Guiding helps girls to connect with their community and with the wider world,” added Birnie. “We are so pleased to be able to have the opportunity to connect with the Hamilton Tiger Cats, and for the girls to watch and then participate in something that is active and so much fun.”

To finish off this exciting event, on Sunday morning the Girl Guides will hit the field and participate in a football and cheer camp led by Ticats players and Ticats London Tap House Cheerleaders.
