What’s In A Number: Pavlovic/Porter/Adams

#49

Robert Pavlovic

Tight End

“I actually put on my initial forms a couple of numbers I liked but none of them were eligible. You know what though, 49 is a great number and I’m going to stick by it. I was 93 in college, and in high school I was 77. I’ve never been below 50. I was actually kind of afraid they were going to put me offensive line when they gave me the 49, but it’s not eligible for that, so I’m ok.”

#12

Quinton Porter

Quarterback

“There really isn’t a reason behind number 12. I was always number 5 because I’m Quinton, and the youngest of five kids in my family. The number 12 was given to me in Carolina, so when they asked what number I wanted in Hamilton I wanted 5, but 12 was my second choice. It works though. Tom Brady is obviously as good as it gets and he’s number 12, so hopefully I can emulate his play a little bit. (Laughs).”

#97

Darrell Adams

Defensive End

“There isn’t necessarily any significance to it. It’s the number I was given and I’m just trying to make something out of it. In college I was 90, and it was unavailable when I got here, but any number in the 90’s is fine by me. I just want to go out there and play with a lot of passion and a lot of energy and play my part. It’s fun no matter what number you are.”
