#85
Prechae Rodriguez
Wide Receiver
“I was number 15 in college, and I kind of wanted it up here as well, but Jason French has it. It’s crazy how the change happened though. I saw the number 85 and I fell in love with it. I was born in 1985, so I felt that the number represents that and brings some sort of luck on. It just kind of stuck with me. Plus I like Chad Johnson, so it worked out both ways.”
#15
Jason French
Wide Receiver
“It’s my wife’s birthday number. She was excited about that because she got to choose it. It’s worked out well for me so far. Hopefully it brings us some luck this year. It became available when I got traded to Hamilton last year. In Saskatchewan the number was always occupied, but fortunately the guy that I got traded for wore the number 15, so it was kind of an easy switch right there.”
#31
Jykine Bradley
Defensive Back
“I always liked number 31 on the corner. I was a big Dre Bly fan when he was at North Carolina and I used to always watch him play and I tried to model my game after him. When I was in college I wore number 19, just because it was the number given to me, one of the running backs had number 31.”
#4
Jermaine Mays
Defensive Back
Last year I had number 24 with the Argos, so when I came here I just took off the two. When I was a receiver back in the day, I had number 80 in honour of Jerry Rice, but there isn’t really any inspiration for number 4. I just like 4 or 5. It feels like I’ve had them all. It’s something about the single digit, it makes you look skinny (Laughs).”
