In Michael's Memory

When Bob Young purchased the Tiger-Cats five years ago, he did so with the memory of his brother Michael firmly etched in his mind according to the National Post.

Michael, Bob’s older brother, was a huge Ticats fan. He passed away in 2002 after a battle with skin cancer.

“He was so much the spiritual centre of who and what we were as a family, and represented so much of the good of what we would all aspire to be,” Michael and Bob’s cousin Bill said. “He was unfailingly generous. Every one of our kids – his nieces and nephews – all thought they were the special ones with Mike. Because he’d always come back with the biggest panda or the biggest toy, and he’d do it for every one of those kids.

“He’d be armed with God knows what every time he came.”
