Mosca In The Community

Last week, several members of the Tiger-Cats organization participated in the team’s TigerTown Week, that saw them branch out into local communities, showing that while the games are played in Hamilton, Ticats football is by no means limited to Steeltown.

Along with current players and cheerleaders, one of the Tiger-Cats greatest ambassadors, Angelo Mosca made his presence felt at several of the events. Mosca, who throughout his life has rarely entered a room without someone noticing, shared his thoughts with fans and listened to their predictions for the upcoming season.

Angelo is a poster boy for publicity, never shy to give a quote or pose for a picture, which is likely why his face is one of the most recognized around town. While he spends plenty of time around the city, he now calls St. Catharines home, and is very passionate about expanding the Ticats fan base in his area. He even suggests that the team should move its training camp back to Brock University to rekindle the excitement for the CFL game in that community.

With training camp approaching, you can be sure to see Mosca’s face at practices, speaking to players and passing on stories about the lineage of the Black and Gold. On top of his community work with the team, Mosca is as active as ever at age 71. His most recent venture is Your Travel Business, an online travel company that allows customers to purchase their vacations while becoming a travel affiliate themselves.

Whether it’s in Southern Ontario, Hawaii, or back in Massachusetts where he was born, Mosca is representing the pride and honour of TigerTown everywhere he visits.
