On Saturday, March 29, Hamilton Minor football, in conjunction with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, will be hosting registration for the Jr. Ticat team of the Central Ontario Minor Football League from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Registration will take place at the Tiger Town Tavern located upstairs at the Ticats head office (1 Jarvis St, Hamilton).
All eligible players and family members are welcome to come down to sign up and meet Ticats quarterback Casey Printers and kicker Nick Setta, who will be interacting with fans and signing autographs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the TigerTown Store.
About Jr. Tiger-Cats:
The Hamilton Jr. Ticats enjoyed their inaugural season in 2007, finishing with an impressive record of 5-5 (4th place in the A division). To become part of this evolving program, head down to Tiger Town on March 29th.
Player Requirements for the 2008 season:
- Players born 1994-1995 and a maximum weight of 190 lbs with a post season growth weight of 203 lbs
- Players born in 1993 – 140 lbs with growth to 150 lbs
- X men (Offensive Linemen & Defensive Linemen) – Born in 1994-1995 there is absolutely no weight restrictions
