Creehan Named Defensive Coordinator

Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that Denny Creehan has been named the team’s new defensive coordinator.

Creehan has over three decades of coaching experience and has spent the previous four seasons with the Calgary Stampeders as their defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.

“Denny has had success as a defensive coordinator everywhere he has been,” said general manager Bob O’Billovich. “His knowledge and experience will be an incredible addition to our staff.”

Prior to joining the Stampeders, Creehan held defensive coordinator positions with Rutgers, Arkansas State, and Edinboro University as well as head coaching positions with South Dakota, San Francisco State and Edinboro University.

Creehan also served as the Edmonton Eskimos’ special teams coach for three seasons.
