Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats would like to congratulate defensive tackle Howard Hodges for being named CFL Defensive Player of the Week and receiver/return specialist Jo Jo Walker for being named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for their performances during the Ticats’ victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday, November 3.
Hodges made two quarterback sacks, three defensive tackles, forced one fumble and recovered a fumble while Walker returned five punts 100 yards (20 avg) including a gamebreaking 71-yard return for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Kicker/punter Nick Setta (Special Teams) and Ray Mariuz (Canadian) were named runners-up for Player of the Week awards.
