Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has acquired non-import fullback Jeff Piercy from the Montreal Alouettes in exchange for import quarterback Jason Maas.
Piercy, a 6-1, 229-pound native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan has recorded eight carries for 42 rushing yards and four receptions for 49 receiving yards with the Alouettes this season. Piercy was Montreal’s second round (12th overall) selection in the 2005 CFL Canadian Draft.
