Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are excited to present Black Out Night this Friday during their home game with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear black clothing to Ivor Wynne Stadium.
The first 20,000 fans that enter the gates at Ivor Wynne will receive a free black foam hammer to help cheer on the Ticats.
In addition, the black out theme will be evident throughout the stadium with the team donning black jerseys and black pants while the Dofasco TigerVision video board and the team’s official website, Ticats.ca, will take on new looks. Fans can also indulge in black licorice at concession stands and listen to black out-themed music, which will be played over the course of the evening.
Black merchandise will be readily available, as fans will receive $10 off the purchase of the combination of a black hat and black shirt at any of the merchandise booths located within Ivor Wynne.
Also appearing at Friday’s game will be Robbie, a 500-pound tiger from the Bowmanville Zoo that will be on the field prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
