Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats would like to congratulate receiver Chris Bauman on earning the Canadian Football League’s Canadian Player of the Week award for his performance against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on July 27.
In his CFL debut, the first overall selection in the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft provided a reliable target for quarterback Jason Maas by hauling in six receptions for 81 yards.
Ticats running back Jesse Lumsden was runner up for Canadian Player of the Week after capturing the award in Week 4 while kicker Nick Setta was named runner up for the Special Teams Player of the Week.
