Ticats Team Up With Sound of Music Festival

Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival is excited to welcome the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as our presenting hosts for THE PHILOSOPHER KINGS at Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival on Thursday, June 14.

“This is a great opportunity to reach out to our fans in Burlington and support a great festival as well as the gifted Canadian musical talent that will be on hand,” said Ticats President Scott Mitchell.

The KingsGate Wealth Management Tiger-Cats Cheerleading Team will also be featured in this year’s Grande Festival Parade along with Ticats Ambassador Angelo Mosca.

On Saturday, be sure to visit the Tiger-Cats tent in the Family Zone for free face painting and a chance to purchase Ticat merchandise. On Saturday and Sunday, be sure to fill out a ballot for your chance to win the ultimate Father’s Day gift. The package includes four tickets to a Tiger-Cats game, Tiger-Cats apparel for Dad and a pre-game meet and greet with Ticats legend and Canadian Football Hall of Famer, Ron Lancaster. The draw will take place on Sunday afternoon during closing ceremonies at Bell Canada Stage.

“It is a great partnership,” says festival president Jason Murphy. “The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are an organization with far reaching marketing opportunities and we are happy to be working with them”.
