Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed import wide receivers Carl Ford and Anthony Arceneaux.
Ford, a 6-0, 175-pound Toledo product was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft after he recorded 149 receptions for 1966 yards and 17 touchdowns in 45 games with the Rockets. The Monroe, Michigan spent time with the Packers, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Arena Football League’s Chicago Rush earlier this year.
Arceneaux, a 5-10, 180-pound native of Portland, Oregon has spent the past four seasons playing Arena Football. Before turning pro, Arceneaux played two seasons at the University of Utah.
The Ticats also released non-import receiver Iain Fleming.
