Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are ready to Paint The Town Black & Gold. The team announced today that they would make surprise appearances at locations throughout Hamilton and Southwestern Ontario between April 16th and April 27th which will lead up to the first annual Ticats Kick-Off Bash.
During these appearances members of the Black & Gold including Ticats players, cheerleaders, mascots and other personnel will be showing up locally to help out fans with several everyday tasks.
“We wanted to do something different ” said caretaker Bob Young. “We wanted to bring the excitement that fans experience at each and every Ticats game at Ivor Wynne out from the stadium walls and into everyday life in our community. It’s an opportunity for the Ticats to call attention to our upcoming season, showcase our players and coaches and, at the same time, do something beneficial for the community.”
Fans are encouraged to check out the team’s official website, Ticats.ca, to see where and when the Cats will be on each day. Specific details on each appearance will be made available daily.
