TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced five fines after Week 17 action on Wednesday.
Toronto Argonauts linebacker Jeff Knox Jr. was fined for punching BC Lions offensive lineman Joel Figueroa.
Montreal defensive backs Branden Dozier, Dominique Ellis, T.J. Heath and Jermaine Robinson were fined for an inappropriate celebration following an interception in the third quarter against the Calgary Stampeders.
As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats Brandon Banks and Jumal Rolle were fined for their participation in a pre-game altercation with opposition players prior to Saturday’s game against the BC Lions.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Ted Laurent was fined for kicking BC Lions offensive lineman Peter Godber.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive back Frankie Williams was fined for an inappropriate gesture following the conclusion of play #85 against the BC Lions.
The league also announced two additional fines from Week 16:
Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Matthias Goossen was fined for a late and unnecessary hit on Montreal Alouettes linebacker Chris Ackie.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Patrick Neufeld was fined for a late and unnecessary hit on Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Gabriel Knapton.
