CFL announces two fines from Week 16
TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced the following fines on Wednesday:
- Edmonton Elks linebacker Derrick Moncrief was fined for a high hit on Toronto Argonauts quarterback Antonio Pipkin.
- Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Garrett Marino was fined for unnecessary roughness on Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.
As per league policy, the amounts of the fines were not disclosed.
