MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes will get defensive back Ciante Evans back in the fold for the team’s final game of the regular season against the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
Evans is in his first campaign with the Alouettes. In 12 appearances this season, he’s accumulated 28 tackles and 3 interceptions.
Vernon Adams Jr. has been listed as the team’s starter for the game, however, he’s likely to get some snaps in the first quarter and exit — as was the case in Week 20 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
William Stanback will also start for the Als, with Jarveon Williams serving as the backup. Jeremiah Johnson has been moved to the one-game injured list.
Additionally, linebacker Chris Ackie, defensive lineman John Bowman, defensive back Tommie Campbell, and receivers Quan Bray and DeVier Posey have also been placed on the one-game ahead of the season finale.
The Alouettes will travel to TD Place to take on the REDBLACKS in the final game of the season. The two teams will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
