Creativity + Strength: #GreyCupFitUp Update!

It’s Friday September 7th and it’s officially day 22 of #GreyCupFitUp! Like many of you reading this, September has gotten me back into a routine. After a summer of travel, indulging and visiting with family and friends a schedule has been a welcome change. It’s taken a few days to figure out which days I can get to the gym and which times work best (I prefer mornings) but I am starting to feel more in control of my #GreyCupFitUp journey! From making better eating choices to finding time to read, journal and attempts to meditate (comment/tweet your tips) I’m figuring it out.

Reading through your tweets it sounds like many of you are feeling the same! Football games, eating out, back to school, high temperatures – you seem to be working through your own hurdles and finding ways to make your health and wellness a priority. What I especially love about this challenge is the ability to learn from others and pickup their best tips and tricks. Last year I learned about two YouTube channels which helped me greatly – this yoga page AND this fitness page from you guys on Twitter. This week you’ve shown creativity in getting your exercise in and shared some healthy meal prep that got me motivated to start making yummy salads at home. Something else I loved this week, your kindness and generosity with yourself and others. Some of you are finding space for self-care and making it a priority when it hasn’t been in the past. Many of you have been encouraging your friends and helping keep them on track. Feeling so encouraged by all of your dedication to this challenge and your progress so far!
