Mark’s Labour Day Weekend is a classic weekend for any CFL fan with heated rivalries fuelling each matchup. I have also found it to be the perfect way to get your buds together and say goodbye to summer and relax before it’s back to school, routine and saying farewell to white pants.
If you can get out to a game this weekend…I think you should do it, you can buy your tickets right here! If you needed any other reason to go – other than the football and the white pants send off – there are some sweet concerts happening at a couple games. Sunday September 2nd country star Jess Moskaluke will not only be singing the national anthem, but will also be performing at halftime when the Roughriders host the Bombers! Jess is from Langenburg Saskatchewan so we know who she’ll be cheering for at this sold out game and we know fans at the game look forward to hearing their hometown star crush it!
Then on Monday September 3rd the Ticats are hosting the Argos for the battle of the QEW! The Ticats have a HUGE gameday planned with your game ticket you get free admission to the Hurricanes junior football game, a free concert headlined by country star Tebey and then at halftime of the Ticats/Argos game Monster Truck is performing the halftime show!

And after the Labour Day Weekend comes the REMATCH! You will want to be at the Toronto Argonauts game on September 8th for country night. Not only does everyone love a good themed event (I know it’s not just me…) but Brett Kissel will be performing at halftime. Nobody likes to say farewell to a Canadian summer so round up your pals and get out to some football in the next couple of weeks – I think it might make the goodbye a little easier!
