Esks DB Walker announces retirement
EDMONTON — Edmonton Eskimos international defensive back Brian Walker has retired from the Canadian Football League, the team announced on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old Fayetteville State product suited up in 15 games for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2017 and collected 41 defensive tackles, three special teams tackles, one interception and a forced fumble.
A few weeks after his release from the Bombers following the team’s training camp earlier this year, Edmonton added Walker to their practice roster.
