Bombers release DB Steven Clarke
WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have released international defensive back Steven Clarke, the team announced Monday.
The 27-year-old joined the Bombers this off-season after four seasons in BC, where he played 25 games and recorded 73 tackles, two sacks and an interception.
Clarke recorded an interceptions during the Bombers’ 33-13 win over the Eskimos on Friday night at Investors Group Field.
The Bombers wrap up their pre-season on Friday night with a visit to BC before opening the regular season June 14 vs. Edmonton.
