WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Andrew Harris left Saturday’s 36-27 loss against the BC Lions in the second half with an apparent injury.
The Bombers’ leading rusher appeared to suffer the injury after taking a hit from Dyshawn Davis while attempting to make a play on a screen pass.
Harris did not return after being helped off the field, but head coach Mike O’Shea said Harris “should be fine” during his post-game press conference. The Bombers’ star also provided an update on twitter after the game.
Your boy is all good! Thanks for all the love.. much appreciated! #Relentless #ForTheW
