He may no longer be a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, but Darian Durant is still the man of the people. According to a story from CTV News Sasktatoon which sites a poll from Mainstreet Research/Postmedia, Darian Durant is the most popular person in all of Saskatchewan.

The poll surveyed 1,000 people in the province between Aug. 16 and Aug. 22 and asked what they thought of 22 people including politicians, community leaders, athletes and performers.
Darian came in first with a +51 approval rating narrowly beating out Corner Gas star Brent Butt with current Riders QB Kevin Glenn sliding in at the third spot.
