TORONTO — Only eight games left until the playoffs.
The writers are back with their picks this week and time is running out to make a charge up the standings.
It’s a good position to be in for Jim Morris and Matthew Cauz, who neck and neck for the top slot as the season continues to wind down.
Week 19 kicks off Friday night with a possible playoff preview between the Ticats and Eskimos and continues with a double header on Saturday, including the final game at Mosaic Stadium.
While the province of Saskatchewan will be in for an emotional day, Saturday also features a pivotal matchup between the Bombers and REDBLACKS. Both of those teams have home field in their sights, with Ottawa contending for an East Division title and Winnipeg scrapping for second in the West and a home playoff game.
Finally, Vernon Adams Jr. aims for another win in just his second career start and you can bet he’ll be tested against the 15-1-1 Calgary Stampeders.
Six playoff teams have been decided but not much else as we head towards an exciting Week 19 filled with plenty of storylines.
