TORONTO — For the second week in a row, the Calgary Stampeders sit on top of the Nissan Titan Power Rankings. With their 35-15 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Stamps held onto their spot at the top of the West Division Standings.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers jumped two spots after their 37-11 storm-delayed victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats but will they continue their rise? Meanwhile, the Ticats fell two spots this week, but with the return of franchise quarterback Zach Collaros looming, can they turn things around?

After their 35-15 victory over the Riders, their third in a row, the Stampeders are on top of the West and the power rankings. Led by quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, the Stamps had another impressive outing in the first half of a home and home with Saskatchewan.

With their 23-20 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos in Week 7, the Ottawa REDBLACKS snapped a two-game losing skid and jumped over Toronto for the top spot in the East. Henry Burris and his squad outlasted the Esks in the grueling defensive battle, getting Ottawa to 4-2-1 heading into the bye.

The Argonauts remain static following their Week 7 bye. Logan Kilgore made his season debut last week and appears to have the Argos in good hands while Ricky Ray remains sidelined with a knee injury. A third straight win, which the Argos will have the opportunity to notch on Friday night at BMO Field vs. Winnipeg, would put Toronto 5-2 and in elite territory.

Jonathon Jennings and the BC Lions continued to show that they are contenders in the West this season after their 38-18 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in Week 7, but it wasn’t enough for the Lions to jump the idle Argos. The young Jennings remains the key to a Lions team poised to challenge for a West Division title.

The Bombers won their second game in a row for the first time in more than two years with a 37-11 victory against the Tiger-Cats — to move up two spots. After a two and a half hour weather delay, Winnipeg came out firing on all cylinders, headed into the half with a 34-0 lead and kept it going for the rest of the game. Matt Nichols and co. will look to keep their winning streak alive this week when they head to BMO Field to take on the Argos.

This Week: 6 | Last Week: 6
After three straight losses, the defending Grey Cup Champions are in danger of falling into the bottom third of the power rankings. In a 23-20 loss to Ottawa, Esks quarterback Mike Reilly took a beating from the Ottawa defence and was held under 300 passing yards for the first time this season. Reilly and the Esks not longer get the benefit of the doubt and will have to earn their way back to the top.

This Week: 7 | Last Week: 5
A 37-11 loss to Winnipeg was not how the Ticats wanted to end a six-game stretch without Zach Collaros, but a .500 start keeps them very much alive in the East Division race and now the franchise quarterback is ready to return.

This Week: 8 | Last Week: 8
The Montreal Alouettes lost 38-17 to the Lions in Week 7 but they remained stagnant in the power rankings. With just two wins on the season, Kevin Glenn and co. will hope to find their stride when they head to Edmonton to take on the Eskimos.

This Week: 9 | Last Week: 9
A better effort in Week 7 but the same result for the Riders — a 35-15 loss to the Calgary Stampeders. The good news is Chris Jones’ team, now 1-5 on the season, doesn’t have to wait long for a rematch with the Stamps as the two teams square off Saturday night.
