TORONTO — One of the draft’s most intriguing prospects, Brandon Bridge was selected in the fourth round (31st overall) by the Montreal Alouettes.

Bridge recently became the first quarterback ever listed in the CFL Scouting Bureau’s Top 20 and has been the subject of much hype entering the 2015 CFL Draft.

The Mississauga, Ont. native committed to Alcorn State University out of high school. After two seasons, he transferred to South Alabama and started as a senior with the Jaguars last season. Bridge threw for 1,927 yards and tied a school single-season record for touchdown passes with 15.

He recently tried out at a mini-camp with the Dallas Cowboys but was not offered a contract.

Bridge is considered a total athlete with tremendous long-term potential and the ability to also play receiver if needed.

More to come . . .
