MOSSIS MADU |
SOLOMAN ELIMIMIAN LIONS LINEBACKER |
|
On Saturday night, rookie running back Mossis Madu will get his sixth start of the Ticats 2014 campaign. Last week in Winnipeg, Madu continued to show that he is capable of filling in for injured C.J. Gable, as he averaged 6.1 yards per carry and scored his first career touchdown on a 22-yard carry. In his five previous starts this season, the former Oklahoma Sooner has compiled 480 combined yards on 73 touches, an average of 6.6 yards per touch. |
Soloman Elimimian has been a warrior for the B.C Lions this season. Elimimian currently leads the CFL with a total of 108 defensive tackles, 45 more tackles than Calgary’s Brandon Smith (63). With the Lions set to play five more regular season games, including tonight’s matchup against Hamilton, Elimimian is on pace to break the CFL record for defensive tackles in a single season (130) set by J.C Sherritt in 2012. In 2014, the Lions linebacker has posted double-digit tackles in six of the Lions 13 regular season games. |
