The Tiger-Cats will place C.J. Gable on the six-game injured list later this week after the sophomore running back sustained a shoulder injury on the first play from scrimmage in Hamilton’s 25-23 win over Edmonton on Saturday.
“C.J.’s not good. We’re probably going to have to put him on the six-game and go from there,” Coach Austin said after Tuesday’s practice.
The reigning East Division Most Outstanding Rookie has been limited to just seven appearances this season. He has carried the ball 30 times for 138 yards, caught 18 passes for 224 receiving yards and scored four touchdowns.
