A closer look at some facts and figures from the Inaugural Game at Tim Hortons Field, presented by MNP.

1 – Plays it took for the Ticats to record their first turnover. 

1 – Number of games it took for defensive back Ed Gainey to make his first interception.  The former Montreal Alouette’s late-game pick virtually sealed the win.

2 – Fumbles forced by Tiger-Cats rookie linebacker Beau Landry on special teams.

2 – Fly-overs by a CF-18 fighter jet before kickoff.

3 – Quarterback sacks recorded by defensive end Antonio Coleman in his last two games.  Coleman twice brought down Argonauts QB Ricky Ray on Monday.

9 – Offensive plays it took for the Ticats to score the first ever touchdown at Tim Hortons Field – a nine-yard toss from Zach Collaros to Bakari Grant.

26 – Touches for rookie running back Mossis Madu, who caught eight passes for 72 yards and carried the ball 18 times for 50 yards.

30 – Number of victories for the Tiger-Cats over the Argonauts in Labour Day Classic history.

1:25 – Time it took for the Ticats to record the first points at Tim Hortons Field. Justin Medlock split the uprights from 29-yards out to open the scoring.

50 – Career starts for veteran offensive lineman Brian Simmons, who suited up at right guard on Monday.

317 – Passing yards for Zach Collaros – the third-highest single-game total of his CFL career.

674 – Days between games played on the site of Tim Hortons Field.  The final game at Ivor Wynne Stadium took place on October 27, 2012.

3,400 – Size (in square footage) of the amazing new videoboard at Tim Hortons Field.

18,135 – Number of fans who can say “I was at the first ever game at Tim Hortons Field!”
