By the numbers: Into the bye week

Numbers, facts and figures from the first two weeks of the season…

2 – Interceptions made by linebacker Rico Murray – one in each game.

4 – Special teams tackles made by first-round pick Beau Landry and linebacker Erik Harris, who are tied for the league lead with six other players.

4 – Players that have thrown a pass for the Tiger-Cats this season – quarterbacks Zach Collaros, Dan LeFevour and Jeremiah Masoli, as well as receiver Brandon Banks, who couldn’t connect with Collaros on a trick play in Saskatchewan.  

5 – Days spent in Regina between games against the Roughriders and Eskimos.

8 – Number of special teams tackles needed by Marc Beswick to tie Rob Hitchcock’s career special teams tackle record of 122.

12 – Defensive tackles made by rookie defensive back Michael Coe in his first CFL game in Edmonton.

13 – Number of players who have made their CFL debuts for the Ticats through the first two weeks of the season.

16 – League-leading defensive tackle total for linebacker Simoni Lawrence.  

291 – Yards allowed per-game by the Tiger-Cats defence – the second-best total among all CFL teams.
