The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed import offensive lineman Justin Anderson, import defensive backs Michael Coe and Korey Lindsey, as well as import receiver/kick returner Quincy McDuffie, the team announced today.
Anderson, a 6-5, 342-pound native of Ocilla, Georgia, played 30 games in four seasons at the University of Georgia. He recently spent time with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.
Coe, a 6-1, 190-pound native of Memphis, Tennessee, joins the Tiger-Cats after a six-year stint in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants. The Alabama State product was selected by the Colts in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Lindsey, a 5-8, 194-pound, native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, arrives in Hamilton after spending time with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins over the last three seasons. As a senior at Southern Illinios, he registered 41 tackles and seven pass breakups en route to being named a first-team All-MVFC selection.
McDuffie, a 5-10, 178-pound, native of Orlando, Florida, finished his NCAA career as the all-time leader in kickoff returns (90), kickoff return yards (2,501) and kickoff return touchdowns (6) at Central Florida. In 52 games at UCF, he hauled in 92 passes for 1,102 yards and seven touchdowns. The two-time first team All-C-USA selection attended training camp with the NFL’s Denver Broncos last season.
The Tiger-Cats also announced the team has released import defensive lineman Craig Marshall.
