The Hamilton Tiger-Cats provided a wide-ranging update about the fan experience at Tim Hortons Field on Tuesday. Team President Glenn Gibson and Caretaker Bob Young were on hand to make the following announcements:
TIGER-CATS MAKING SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT IN TIM HORTONS FIELD
The Tiger-Cats will invest at least $5 million in capital expenditures to improve the fan and player experience at Tim Hortons Field.
A continual commitment to providing every advantage to our football team will see the Tiger-Cats invest significantly in all aspects of the football experience for our players and coaches. From the locker rooms, to the medical and therapeutic programs, to improved nutrition, strength and conditioning facilities, the players and coaches will have everything they need in a world-class facility.
The Tiger-Cats will also be investing in everything that will ensure Tim Hortons Field has an unsurpassed fan experience, including improved technology, gameday entertainment, customer service and more.
PREMIUM SEATING AREAS AND SEVERAL SECTIONS SOLD OUT
Anticipation for the upcoming season at Tim Hortons Field has already led to strong season seat sales results:
- All 30 private suites on the Scotiabank Premier Suite Level are SOLD OUT.
- The entire Club Level is SOLD OUT.
- Both the upper and lower levels of the Coors Light Patio in the north end zone are SOLD OUT.
- The Seagram Touchdown Lounge, located in the south end zone, is SOLD OUT.
All available season seats in the platinum, red and green sections are SOLD OUT. While limited tickets are available at other price points, fan s can secure their season seats for the Inaugural Season at Tim Hortons Field for as low as $240.
“We’re very encouraged by our sales to date — fans are clearly excited to be a part of the Inaugural Season at Tim Hortons Field,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Glenn Gibson. “We have sold out of 11 of 15 price points and expect to sell close to 5,000 new season seats by the end of June. We plan on capping season seat sales at just over 16,000 and clearly we are on the verge of achieving that goal.”
Gibson continued, “While some great seating options are still available, we don’t expect them to be on the market for long. Fans who wish to guarantee their spot at Tim Hortons Field should purchase their seats immediately.”

LEGACY WALL TO COMMEMORATE INAUGURAL SEASON
To show gratitude for the overwhelming support demonstrated by season seat holders and corporate partners, the Ticats have commissioned the creation of a Legacy Wall to commemorate the Inaugural Season at Tim Hortons Field. The Legacy Wall will feature the names of all season seat account holders who are a part of this historic first season.
Fans that purchase their season seats by June 30, 2014 will have the opportunity to have their name etched on the Legacy Wall, which will be unveiled prior to the final home game of the season.

OVER 4,000 PARKING SPOTS AVAILABLE IN STADIUM PRECINCT
Through collaborations with the City of Hamilton, ArcelorMittal Dofasco, local school boards and other third-parties, the Ticats will facilitate the use of over 4,000 parking spots within a 12-minute walk of Tim Hortons Field – over five times the amount of spots the team controlled in 2012.
A comprehensive parking guide will be located on Ticats.ca to help fans identify over 4,000 parking opportunities on gamedays. Pre-reserved parking spaces will be available for season seat holders to purchase in mid-May.
