It’s hard to believe, but we’re a little over three months away from the return of CFL football to Hamilton. Your first chance to see the Tiger-Cats in action will take place in historic fashion, as the Black and Gold host the Montreal Alouettes in the first professional football game to be played at McMaster University’s Ron Joyce Stadium on Saturday, June 14 at 3 p.m.
Remember – the only way to be in the stands is through our season seat holder lottery. Since we unveiled the plans for our pre-season game last month, the response from our fans has been tremendous.
Today, we’re excited to announce the pre-season pricing options. Season seat holders will save up to 28% off regular season seat prices for this once-in-a-lifetime Hamilton football event!

In light of the release of ticket prices, we’re extending the deadline to enter the lottery to Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. Time is running out to enter the lottery for this once-in-a-lifetime event! You can enter the lottery by contacting your ticket sales representative at 905-547-CATS (2287) or by e-mailing us at macpreseason@ticats.ca.
And don’t forget, everyone who attends the pre-season game will receive an exclusive invitation to the VIP Open House at Tim Hortons Field, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, July 20. There you’ll receive a behind-the-scenes look at our new home before anyone else, have the chance to sample new and exciting food and beverage options throughout the stadium, win great prizes and meet Tiger-Cats players and coaches.
