The Tiger-Cats have signed non-import offensive lineman Steve Myddelton, the team announced this evening.
Myddelton, a 6-3, 305-pound native of Barrie, Ontario, began his CFL career with the Calgary Stampeders after they selected him with the 30th overall pick in the 2009 CFL Draft. He played in 37 games over three-and-a-half seasons with the Stamps before being dealt to the B.C. Lions on August 5, 2013. Myddelton suited up in 12 games with the Lions last year.
Before turning pro, Myddelton played four seasons (2005-08) at St. Francis Xavier, where he was named a two-time AUS All-Star, a CIS All-Canadian and was nominated for the J.P. Metras Trophy as the AUS Lineman of the Year.
